visited this week with her son-in-law
and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Guy

Mrs. Mary Hildebrandt and Mar-
ney spent the weekend with relatives
in Windsor.
Mrs. Pearl Case spent a few days
last week,with her mother, Mrs.
John Reid in London.
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh McEwen and
son enjoyed a pleasant motor trip to
Sault Ste Marie where they visited
with Mrs. McEwen's brother-in-law
and sister, Mr. and Mrs, Jim Mundy
and faintly. They returned hone by
the state of Michigan.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cochrane of
Toronto were recent visitors with
the former's sisters, Mrs. Hugh Mc-
Murtrie, Mrs, Lorne Eller and Mr.
Allan Cochrane.
The regular meeting of Amber
Reb''ekah Lodge 349 was held on
Wednesday evening with the Noble
Grand Sister Leona Parke in the
chair. Arrangements were made to
hold a bazaar on the 7th of Nevom-
ber, and each member is requested
to bring an article for sale at the
bazaar, to the next meeting The
members are also asked to leave
their candy for the Hallowe'en bags
at the Lodge rooms by Thursday,
•Oet. 29th. Sister Myrtle Orr was ap-
pointed Recording -Secretary and
Sister Olga Chipchase was appointed
Treasurer. Sister Jessie Dougall
gave a very interesting account of
Grand Lodge held in Toronto in
June at which. she attended as a re-
presentative of Amber Lodge. Lodge
closed in regular form.
Mrs. Hudson and Mrs. S. Pfaff
were in London during the past
week and attended the Western Fair
Miss Lois Henderson of the staff
of the Bank of Montreal left this
week for Winnipeg, Man., where she
will spend her holidays with rela-
tives,
Mrs. Jim Campbell and children
of London visited this week with her
sister, Mrs. Gordon Harkness.
Miss Shirley Flynn returned home
after holidaying with friends in
London' and Toronto.
