RHYNAS, Margaret—Suddenly at the resi-
dence of her son, 23 Botham Rd., Lansing,
on Sunday, May 24, 1953, Margaret Fergu-
son, wife of the late Oliver William Rhynas
and dear mother of Philip 0. Rhynas and
dear grandmother of Philip and John and
dear slater of Mrs, Egbert Sharpe (Elisabeth)
of Toronto; and Captain William Ferguson,
Sudbury. Funeral Wednesday at Mount Hope
Cemetery, Brantford,

Flowers adorned the altar of St.
Peter's Lutheran Church at the
Sunday Services in memory of Mr.
Henry Rose who passed away 12
years ago in March, and Mrs. Rose
one year ago in May, they were
placed there by their family.
Messrs Lorne Wolfe, Gerald
Buuck and Ralph Scherbarth spent
Sunday in Toronto.
Miss Jean Siemon eldest daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Albert ,Siemon, has
taken a position with the Northern
Life Assurance Co. in Toronto.
Lloyd McLean, postmaster at El-
bow, for forty years, passed away in
the Central Butte Hospital, May 1
at the age of 68. Mr. McLean was
born at Watford, Ont., and came to
Saskatchewan in 1905.
Funeral services were held Tues-
day, May 5th from Elbow .United
Ohuroh with interment in Elbow
Cemetery. The services were con-
ducted by Rev. A. Moffat, the floral
tributes were many and beautiful.
He is survived by his wife, the
former Rachel Eggert of McKillop
twp„ five sons, Howard of Trail, B.
C., William of Toronto, Jack at As-
sinaboia, Sask., and Dalton and Ro-
bert at home; five daughters, Mrs.
J. Kohnke at Kamloops, B.C., Irene
at home; Jean at Duncan, B.C., and
Glenda at Assinaboia, and Mrs. Ivan
Ronalds, (Mae) at Leaside, Toronto;
seven grandchildren, one sister, Mrs.
J. McMillan of Elbow, and an aunt,
Miss E. Virg of Sarnia, Ont.
ADAMS—In the Stratford Gener-
al Hospital, on May 14, 1953, to Mr.
and Mrs. Darrell Adams of Mitchell,
a son, a brother for Lorie.

Miss Galbraith last week.
