LEGION AUXILIARY The regular meeting of the Wo- men's Auxiliary to the Canadian Legion 156 was held on May 4, 26 members attending. It was voted to send a cheque to the Association of Tubercular Veterans. Plans for the Zone Bally in Lueknow, May 14 were discussed and all members were urged to attend. Plans were further made to send a parcel to the Auxiliary adopted member in Westminster Hospital, Comrade Cre- niin having left the Auxiliary was replaced by Comrade Fearcey. Luxton in Clinton. 'Miss Dolly Hildebrandt of London visited over the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Hilde- brandt. Mr. Harry Smith, who has bean, confined to his room for the past several weeks owing to illness, was removed to St. Joseph's Hospital, London, for treatment. Mrs. Hugh McEwen and infant daughter returned home from South Huron District Hospital, Exeter, this week, Mrs. Tena McDonald, who spent the winter months with Rev. P. A. Ferguson, Mrs. Ferguson and family in Montreal, has returned to Hen- sall, Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Ballantyne and Robert of Detroit spent the weekend with the former's mother, Mrs. Ballantyne and aunts Miss Katie .Scott and Mrs. Graham, Miss Betty Moir of London spent the weekend at the home of her mother, Mrs. Bertha Moir. 'Miss Kay Bell of London was a weekend visitor with her parents, Mr, and Mrs, Stewart Bell and Pauline.
