PARKING
By order of police, to facilitate snow removal, no
parking on the Streets of this Municipality will be
allowed between the hours of 2 a.m. and 8 a.m.
This order will be strictly enforced in accordance with
the Highway Traffic Act Section 43, Subsection 9.
Notiee is hereby given that the said Municipality will
not be responsible for any damages caused to parked
vehicles as the result of Snow removal operations,

Margaret and Frank, spent Sunday
with Mr. and Mrs. T, Aldington,
Miss Georgina Johnston of Pais-
ley spent the week end at the home
of Mr, and Mrs. Lorne Dale, James
street.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Sehneider,
John Street, have returned after
spending three weeks in Florida.

Caroline Porteous were her brother,
Mr•. W. 3. :South and his daughter,
Mrs. Stewart of Brussels and Itis
daughters and their husbands: Mr,
and Mrs. Frank Stamper of Wing -
ham and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sellers
of Moosejaw, Sask.
BRUCEF•IELD
Mrs, Mary Emma Fotheringham,
Brueefield, died in the Clinton Pub-
lic Hospital on Friday morning in
her 88rd year. Born near Woodstock
a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
John Burdge, she came to the
Brucefield area as a child. She was
a member of Brucefield United
Church. Predeceased-- by her hus-
band, Dougald Fotheringham, about
10 years ago, she is survived by two
sons, William Fotheringham, Sea -
forth, and John. Fotheringham,
Hamilton; one daughter, Mrs. Wil-
liam (Jean) Sinclair, Clinton; one
brother, Fred Burdge, Brucefield;
three sisters, Mrs. William ivlcMillar,
and Mrs, John Watson, Egmondville,
and Mrs. Robt. Watson, Brucefield.
Also one grandson, Robert Fother-
ingham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wtn.
Fotheringham. The funeral took
place on Monday afternoon from the
Beattie funeral home, Clinton, Rev.
W. J. Maines of Brucefield United
Church, officiating. Interment was
in Baird's cemetery.
Among those from a distance at-
tending the funeral were relatives
and friends from Highgate, Hamil-
ton, Goderich and Stratford. The
pallbearers were;
Wilmer Broadfoot, Fred Boyce,
Glen Christie, Lindsay Eyre, Allist-
er Broadfoot, James Souter.
Flowerbearers were Gilbert Bee-
croft, Wingham; Hume Clutton,
Goderich; Albert Clark Highgate;
Wm. Burdge, Brucefield.
Miss Leona Anderson, London,
spent the weekend with her parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Simpson and
sons, Detroit, visited the former's
father, Mr. Cecil Simpson, in Scott
Memorial Hospital.
Miss Janet Watson spent the
weekend with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Watson.
NIr. and Mrs. J. R. Murdoch left
for Toronto on Tuesday to visit
their grandson, who has been quite

Group 2 of the W.A. are holding
a erokinole party Friday night at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilber
Jewitt,
Nit, Reg. Lawson and his mother,
Mrs. Mari Lawson were in London
on Sunday. They were accompanied
by Mrs, Leslie Lawson, whose hus-
band is in Victoria hospital.
Mr, and Mrs. Charles Dexter
spent Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. G.
Cunningham, Lo•ndesboro.
The farm forum met Monday
night at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Bill Jewitt with a good attendance.
It being review night there was no
discussion. Winners for progressive
euchre: Ladies, Mrs. James Dale;
gents, Dennis Jewitt; consolation,
Wilma Dale and Gary Jowitt.
Mr. and Mrs. John McDougall in-
vited the group to their home for
next meeting on March 2nd.
Mrs, A. Dexter's group 1 met on
Friday evening at the home •of Mr.
and Mrs, Wm, Jewitt, games were
enjoyed by all, a dainty lunch was
served.
Mrs, G. Hoggarth and Miss Lois
Hoggarth, Seaforth, visited at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. C. Riley on
Sunday, also Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ri-
ley, Kitchener.
Mrs. A. Dexter held a quilting bee
at her home on Wednesday.
Mr, Hopper and son, Seaforth, aro
drilling a well for Mr. Borden Brown
at present.
Group 1 of the W, A, with Mrs,
Austin Dexter as leader held a so-
cial evening on Friday, Feb. 13 in
the Sunday School, 1)r. McMaster
showed slides on his trip to Mexico,
Spacial music was given by Mrs,
Willis Van l:gmond accompanied by
Miss Wiltse, both of Clinton. A read-
ing was given by Mrs. Brown.
Lunch was served, ;proceeds $20.00.
Wednesday, Mrs, Borden Brown
held a very successful quilting at
her home in. aid of Mrs, Dexter's
group, Friday evening Mr. and Mrs.
Wm. Jewitt entertained Mrs. Dext-
er's group, G1 people were present.
During the evening crokinole was
played. Winners, most games, Mrs.
John MacDougald; Mr. Nelson Mc-
Clure; consolation, Mies Joyce
Brown, Francis Cook. hunch was
served,

The Hensall Branch of the Cana-
dian Legion entertained the Ladies'
Auxiliary members at a social in
the Legion Hall on Monday evening.
