building gangs May be used next
year, one for bridges and the other
for culverts. He thought • the two
(bridges just east of Winthrop 'night
be done this year. The water supply
for the County Home is coning up
for consideration due to the great
increase in size of Clinton radio
School. Referring to the old slate
roof beyond repair on the jail he

slates were set in plaster,
Mr. Eckert said he thought the

Killop had not got anything on this
road.
A Councillor from Logan, Wil--
fred Krauskopf, spoke about high
schools, stating it is proposed to
build a new school in the township of
Logan, He felt the average pupil
was 2 years in high school compared
to 8 in public school.
Replying to a question Mr. Eckert
said three trucks have been engaged
if needed for snowplowing.
The bridge near Jos. lahle's
farm was discussed. A temporary
culvert has been in use there. Some
ratepayers favored buying up gravel
pits in the township and saving gra-
vel for the future by using hard top
surfaces. Wardell Johnston stated
the county uses gravel to a depth of
ii feet over 50 acres in aivear. Reev,
Beuermann said the council will rec-
tify the presort condition whereby

any man in Ontario, 1895-1952. Of
late year's he very seldom left ,the
farm. He is survived by one sister,
Mrs. John Maloney of Seaforth, also
six nephews.

When I am dead and in my grave,
And all my bones are rotten,
This little book will tell my name

As I am now you soon shall be;
