sung, followed by Scripture lesson

Little. Prayer by Mrs. Irwin Tre

forth town council was held on Mon-
day evening, ,August 9th, in the .caun-
cll ,dha,nbers. !Present were Acting
'Mayor :Chuff, Reeve Scott, Council-
lors IP'aprlce, Sills, [Holmes and :Reid.
Minutes of Jost regular and special
meeting July 210 were read by 'Clerk
D, M. 'W'ilson, and approved.
A plan of 'town 'drains sh'oul'd be
prepared as complete as possible, and
filed, 'Councillor Sills stuggested. Int

away at the Lockwood Clinic ,H'ospi-

ter an attack of 'pneumonia. His
many friends learned with deep re-
gret of his early demise. 'T'wo broth-
ers, Charles and 'George, Seaforth,
survive him. Born in,Hibbert town-
ship he later came with the family to

him in California a few months ago.

Pleasant Lawn 'Farm, Mullett town-
ship, celebrated the fiftieth anniver-
sary of their wedding this week. Two
sons and two daughters, several
grandr!bild'ren, many relatives and
friends were present on the happy oc-
casion. Messages of congratulation
were received from Saskatoon, where
another daughter, Mrs. Gordon Kerr,
lives; Kinistino, Prince Albert, :E!ct-
monton, Windsor, and Toronto. 'Mr.
Billy Carter, a 'friend of long stand-
ing, expressed the good wishes of. the,

With eight fracture 'cases recently
treated at Scott Memorial 'Hospital,
