HULLETT, Mr, S. E. McDowell sang in beauti-
ful voice "Because," and the bridal
party, retired to the strains of Men-
delssohn's wedding march. The wed-'.
dine' was attended by hundreds of re-;
tativea and friends from 'many points,
near and far. The ushers, who wore I
boutonnieres of white carnations,
were Mr. Richard Lane, of Toronto;
Mr, Wnt. MacDonald, M',A., of Bal-
timore; Mr. -Robert MadDonald, BA.
of Agincourt, and Mr. (George Irwin
of New York. All are cousins of the
bride. 'Immediately after the cere-
mony the bridlal party gathered at
the- home of the bride's parents,
where nearly one hundred guests
were received by 'Mrs. Lane, mother
of the bride, and Mrs, Myers, step-
mother of the groom. A buffet lun-
cheon was served, and a toast to the
•bride •was proposed by Rev. W. D.
MacDloniald, of Agincourt, to :which
the groom responded pleasantly,

ell; Miss ,Madeleine Lane, of ,Goder-

Ruth Lane, only daughter of Rev, on a trip to Algonquin Park On
W. P. and Mrs, Lane, of Goderich, their return from their wedding trip
was unir•d in marriage to Mr, tMr, and Mts. Myers will reside at
the groom's home on Khngs'ton st. in
Goderich where he has established
his office as a veterinary surgeon.
Mr. Myers Is a graduate of the Uni-
versity of 'Toronto and the Veterin-
ary College. :He went to Goderich
two years ago. 'The bride is a -gradu-
ate of the Toronto Copsert atory of
Music in voice and piano, She is ac-
tive in the church, being a 'member
of the choir, a CJG,ILT. leader, Sun-
dae eeliool teacher, and was also a

Mary Jane Moore, widow of John
Moore in her 79'th year. The depart-
ed woman suffered a stroke last week
from which she never recovered,
