Council Meeting.—
The Court of Revision on the As-
sessment 'Roll for Hibbert township
was hell at Staffa cat Monday. May
33, all members present, who sub-
scribed to the necessary declaration.
The following resolutions were pass-
ed, That the appeal for reduction of
assessment sin lot .32. con. 4. he not
allowed. That the assessment on lot
27, con. 13, he reduced $390. The
conn't was adjourned until Monday.
June 7th, when the remaining appeals
will he considered.
General Business—The Clerk read
the minutes of the previous regular
meeting also of a - special meeting
held on May 24th, which on motion
of Councillors B'unchill and Atkinson
were adopted as read.

proached the council for the purpose
of arriving at some satisfactory agree-
ment regarding clerical fees, etc,
'Following a prolonged discussion,
a resolution w as passed; That the
council accept the ntler of the police
trustees of 11111111 for clerical fees for
19:3'7 and that the !Police Village share
of dog tax after expenses are dedntet-
etl fol• the ,year 1C1!37, be credited to
the 'Police Village account. The
meeting adjourned until Mon„ June
7th, at IU p.m.
