games were played and an egg hunt
followed. A small prize was given to
'B'illy Campbell for 'being present at
all the story hours. also small favors
were given to those who missed only
One story hour. Lunch was ,envied and
the- party closed with a song and God

.A shower was held Wednesday ev-
ening, \J.trch 17th at the home of
Mrs. Roy Patrick in honor of Miss
Bessie Blanchard,_ a recent bride,
when about forty neighbors and
friends gathered to present her with
gifts. The house was attracti've'ly de-
corated with green and white stream-
ers and.gay colored balloons, One
i,arge balloon containing confetti was
suspended from the centre of the
roost, :\ .short program was present-
ed followed by the presentation of
the gifts in a rather novel. manner.
The bride was asked to horst the
balloons and inside each she found a
short verse telling her where to find
,her gifts, Miss Blanchard replied in
her usual pleasing manner and thank-
ed all present for their kindness, -\

ess assisted by three girl frie'nd's of
the bride,
