:A very pretty wedding was solemn-
ized Wednesday morning* in St. C'o;-
omhan Church by Rev. Fr. Dantzer
when Margaret Agnes, eldest daugh-
ter of \lr. and Mrs. Patrick Williams
was united .in marriage to Francis .31-
exander McMillan. Detroit. The
bride, wish was given in marriage by
her father, was becomingly gowned in
white satin made on princess lines
With long sleeves and lace yoke. Her
veil, of embroidered net, was caught
with orange blossoms, She carried a
shower bouquet of white asters, briar
Cliffe roses and lily of the valley. The
bridesmaid was her sister, Mary-, who
wore silk net saver nide-.green crepe,
anlcl a white hat with accessories to
match, 1-Ier bouquet was peach glad -
soh, yellow snapdragon, and yellciiw
roses. The groom was assisted by his
brother, Mr. Jbliti McMillan of
Tuc'kersmitlt, The grooms gift .to the
bride was a chest of silver, to the
bridesmaid a purse and to the grooms-
man Acid gloves. The ushers were
Francis \1'illiams brother of the
bride, and 'William McMillan, cousin

parents. Later the bride and groom
left by motor for Niagara Falls and

Ideal weather, a crowd of over
three thousand people and the track
in good condition were features of the
race tweeting of the 'Goderich Trot-
ting and Pacing Association held
there on Civic Holiday, (Aug. 6, The
Goderich Musical Society's bated was

of Mr. Andrew- Patrick, who passed
away at his home on 'Monday morn-
ing. We extend our sytnpatlty to
