The pageant and play in the Pres-
byterian Church, IHensallwas large-
ly attended. The pageant, Our Easter
Cha':lenge" presorted by the mem-
hers of the Mission Band, was en-
joyed by all. The costumes were dein-
ty, representing. Easter flowers. A
hurt mieeionary play, entitled, "Joans
Rejoinder was given by the mem-
bers of Arnold Circle, characters ta-
ken by Mrs. R. 'McLaren, Mn‚sHut-
t,, Olive \Vurkinan, Hannah Mur-
ray, Irene Deters, Sara Manson, Dor-
othy 'Daters.

There passed away at his 'home on
lot 33, con, 5, Us'borme, southeast of
1Hensall, Robert Bell, aged, 74 years.
I -Ie was a son of the :late Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Bell of Usbonne. Since
the death of his lather, Mr, Bell had
farmed the homestead on Which ,he
died, He had been in poor health for
some time and gradually grew weak-
er until he :passed away on ;Sunday
evening. Besides his widow he leaves
to mourn his loss, two daughters, Mrs
Thos. ,Drover and Mrs, Wm, 'Brint-
nell of Hibbert and two sons, John,
at home and Earl in Washington, ,also
one sister, Mrs. Thos, Coward of
Winchelsea ea and three brothers, John
of Exeter; Geo„ of Seaforth, Thos, of
Centralia. The funeral, which was pri-
vate, took place front his late home
on Tuesday afternoon, interment at
McTa.ggart's cemetery,
