CONSTANCE
The anniversary services of Con-
stance United Church held on Sun-
day last were a great success. The
weather was a little disappointing
but there was a good attendance at
both services. The speaker for the
clay was Rev. Reba Hern of Varna.
In the morning she took her text
from 71st Psalm 26th verse, "God
is the strength of my heart," Her
message in the morning was for the
church and was a great spiritual up-
lift. In the morning the choir sang
an anthem, "The Lord is My Light."
The male quartette of Grand Bend
sang three selections which were
very appropriate for the message.
In the evening the text was "OnlY
Believe", found in Mark 5:86. This
message was to the unbeliever to ac-
cept Christ. Tho choir sang an an-
them "I Need Thee Every Hour."
Mr. Harry Hoffman of Dashwood
sang twice and brought a message in
song. His unusual baritone delighted
his hearers. This brought to a close 0
one of the best anniversaries we have
had in a long time. The proceeds O
afnounted to $166.90.
