Arnold Circle Meets -- The September meeting of the Arnold Circle of Carmel Presbyterian Church was held at the home of Miss Violet Hyde on Friday evening with Mrs. A. Orr co -hostess and the presi- dent Mrs. Melvin Moir presiding. The meeting opened by singing"Coma Let 'CTs Sing of a Wonderful Love" followed by prayer by Mrs, Jack Far- quhar. The Scripture was read by Mrs. Chas. Forrest and "0 Master Let Me Walk With Thee,” was sung. Parkins presiding and opened by singing the 23rd Psalm,' "The Lord Is My Shepherd," after which Mrs. C, Hudson led in prayer. ) Mrs, Parkins read a poem written by Miss Pauline Johnson, an Indian' writer, Mrs. Wrn.
