BAYFIELD Mr. Robt, Orr was taken suddenly ill on Saturday evening arid taken to Clinton hospital where he underwent an operation for appendicitis. His many friends hope for a speedy re- covery. The, game was between the Londes- boro and Blyth boys. Alex. Menzies was struck on the head accidentally with a bat. He was knocked uncon- scious and was rushed ti? Clinton hospital where it was found necess- ary to put fifteen stitches in his forehead to close the wound, He re- mained in hospital until Sunday ev- ening when he was removed to his home where he is recovering from his painful accident as well as can be expected. He is the second son of Rev. A. E. Menzies, pastor of the United Church, Mrs. Eric Allen has been quite ill with an attack of the mumps and is with her mother, Mrs, Annie Fother- gill.
