TO onlookers everything was

the stage there was a bit of hus-
tle and bustle. Straight pins, saf-
ety pins, bobby pins and hat
pins are enough to mix anyone
up. Occasionally someone lost a
hoop and one actress was heard
to say "Oh, I 'forgot half my crin-
oline!" There was a little diffi-
culty getting the ladies with rho
wide dresses through the door's
and a little trouble getting make-
up oft. Apparently the boys (ie
not like Noxzema cream! Then
there was the utile incident about
the Streamer Stretchers". The
girls had to have crepe stream-
ersf' drill and i. . s that.

they lost some. Someone got a
brain wave and stretched • the
other ones enough to make up
for the lost Dues, but alas, just
when this was done "That which
was lost was found;'. In the open-
ing scene sailors were scrubbing

manage to get your foot in that
pail ?
As I say it is over now and
everyone's efforts have paid off.

A big welcome was given Pte,
Jack Van Ep'mond on his return
to Seaforth from overseas. At
the town hall addresses of -wel.
wine were given by Mayor
Stewart, Rev. T. H. Brown. Rev.
Geo. McKinley, J. II. Reid and
Geo. Holman,
Tho death occurred of Sam-
uel Dickson who had been post-
master of Seaforth from 1865
until 1013. He could relate in-
teresting stories of the early
days when the streets were
lined with farmers bringing
wheat to market here, and how
those days gave place to the
shipping of livestock instead of
grain.
William Boehler has returned
home to Manley after spending
several months in the west.

construction of an extensionto the
sewerage system of the Town of Sea -
forth,
WH3RI5AS the Department of Health.
of the Province of Ontario (lid by its
Certificate dated the 13th day of Mauch,

ditional combined solvers together with
the necessary private drain connections
thereto in the following streets:
