Licenses will. be issued from the Treas- urer's Office in the Town Hall, or from the Tax Collector, Harold Maloney. After that date summonses through the Court will be issued to the owners or harborers of dogs not having licenses. All dogs must wear license tags. Rose T. Wright Ross T. Wright passed away at his home in Mitchell last week. He was born in !Seaforth in 1908, son of late James Wright and his wife Theresa Troyer. In 1935 he married 'Grace 'Homuth, who survives with two sons and !two daughters; two brothers and three sisters predeceased him, BRODHAGEN The annual Sunday !School and ;Congregational picnic was held on Sunday afternoon, and owing to the rain the races and games had to be held in the church Sheds. Pastor Fischer was the speaker. A ]band concert followed. Moffatt has been appointed princilpal of 'Seaforth Public !School, coming to 'Sea - forth from Pont Arthur. There were three near acci- dents at the swimaning pool and one at the lake on Dominion Day during the extreme heat. This district was fortunate as (there were numerous fatalilties in the province. Joseph McFadden fractured his spine in a fall frown a load of hay. Mr. Frank Baader sailed on bhe +S. S. Antonia . to spend a few weeks at his old home in Yorkshire, England. Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Holland celebrated their golden wedding at Dublin. Mrs. Bert Ferris and children of Provost, Alba., are visiting her mother, Mrs. Henry Taylor. Knox lPrestbyterian Church, Bayfield, ;held *heir opening ser- vices. E. R. !Crawford has been ap- pointed principal of Shakes- peare school, 'Stratford.
