bride's mother wore a sheath
dress in 'Oarribean blue sheer
crepe featuring self -draping roll
bodice and peplum with white
accessories and corsage of ,pink
roses. The groom's mother wore
dior blue crepe with pink ac-
cessories and corsage of pink
roses.
Tor a wedding trip through
the Eastern 'States to tike 'coast
of Maine, the bride chose a dress
of blue and white nylon, white
pieture hat and white accessories
with corsage of pink 'carnations.
On 'their return the couple will
reside in London.
The bride was a member of
1954 graduating class of 'Strat-
ford Hospital School of Nursing.
The groom is a 1956 graduate of
University of Toronto in ,Mech-
anical 'Engineering,
Trousseau Tea
Recently Mrs. Lee 'ltIcConnelI
entertained at a trousseau tea
in honor of her daughter Bar-
bara. Mrs. 'McConnell received
with her daughter, and assisted
by Mrs. Talbot, mother of the
groan. Tihe rooms were taste-
fully decorated with a profusion
of roses and peonies. The tea ta-
ble was covered with Italian em-
broidered cloth and 'floral ar-
rangement of roses and baby
breath. Gifts were shown 'by
Mrs. Dan 'Campbell,
The trousseau was shown by
Mrs. John McC o n n el 1. The
bride's linens were shown by
Mrs. Bill Taylor. Pouring tea
were the 'bride's grandmother,
Mrs. David .Stephenson of Sea -
forth, and her great aunt, Mrs.
Alice Armstrong, Pilot Mound,

on the 'Church Parlor Commit-
tee. Secretary's report was read
and 'approved by 'Mrs. B. John-
ston, also thankyou cards. The
treasurer's report was given by
Mrs. 'Coutts, on hand $416.74.
Sunday School picnic is to be
held on Friday, July 20th et
'Se'atforth 'Lions Park. Supper to
'be served' at '7 o'clock with a
basket lunch. The meeting dos-
ed with the theme hymen and
prayer.

The July meeting of Bethel
WMS and W. A. was held at No.
9 School on Thursday afternoon,
July 5th. This was the first meet-
ing of the Baby :Band. The dhild-
ren were also ,entertained at this
meeting. ,Mrs. Chas. Boyd pre-

was realized at the booth held
at Fred Glanville's sale in June.
