topic prepared by Miss M. Cur-
rie. Mrs. Frances Glossop played
an instrumental number and
Mrs. Grace Scott led in the Glad
Tidings prayer.

Mr. and Mrs, Oscar Ducharme
of the Goshen Line were mar-
ried 50 years on June 6, 1955,
there were many members of
their immediate families pre-
sent to celebrate this event.
They have a family of four
daughters and five sons who
were all present for the happy
oceasion except Mr. Reg-
is Dennomne and family of
London, who were unable to at-
tend. Those attending were their
daughters from Detroit, Port
Huron, and Goderich, and sons
from Hensall, Zurich and Port
Huron, Mich., along with their
families. They all left wishing
their parents many more years
of married bliss.
Mrs, Guston Bon is in a Lon-
don Hospital in the interest of
her health; also Miss Laureen
Oesch was taken to that city for
treatments in a hospital, dur-
ing the week. We wish these
two residents of this community
better health real soon.

Tuckeremith Ladies' Club was
held at the home of Mrs. Eldon
Crich with 16 members and p

Ode was sung followed by the
Lord's Prayer. The roll call was
answered in (A failure of cook-
ing experience I remember)
which claimed a number of jollY
laughs. Lengthy plans were
made for the 40th Anniversary
of the club on Wednesday, Aug.
3rd at 2 pm. at the S.S. No. 4
school. The plans for the annual
club picnic were not completed.
Mrs. Walters described the bus
trip to Detroit on May 26, Mrs.
Roberts gave a reading. "Jua-
nita" was sung followed by the
"Homemakers' Prayer". A love-
ly lunch was served. •
