Waterloo Cattle Breeding Association
"Where Better Bulls Are Used"
MORE DOLLARS FOR YOU. Artificial service from our
Association does not cost, it pays
BECAUSE the dollar outlay is very nominal.Less than
the cost of keeping a bull on your farm.
BECAUSE our bulls will transmit better than average
money making qualities to their offspring. Every tool avail-
able is used to test these qualities and the information is
given to our members.
The Waterloo Cattle Breeding Association is a non-profit,
co-operative, being strengthened every day by old members
continuing to use Hs services and by additional new mem-
bers beginning to use its services.
During January 1955, 101 new members joined our Associa-
tion,
During February 1955, 111 new members joined our
Association.
During January and February 1955, 830 more cows were
inseminated by the Waterloo Unit than during the corres-
ponding months in the previous year. This is an increase of
14.5%.

The following is the address:
Dear Jennie and Lorne: -
`Baekward, turn backward, 0
Time in your flight, recall once
again that memorable night,
when you stood, blushing bride,
and self-conscious groom, heard
the words from the Preacher
pronouncing your doom. I now
pronounce you man and wife.
Committed, each, for all your
life to love, honour and obey."
We, your friends and neighbors
have gathered here tonight to
celebrate with you and extend
congratulations on this your
35th wedding anniversary. "Jen-
nie, in case Lorne should take

little way how much we appre-
ciate your many acts of kindness

old, old saying is, "A friend in
need is a friend indeed." Our
sincere wish is that both •of you

FAMILY HERALD AND
WEEKLY STAR
Unusual charity appeals are
coming out of India, according
to the Family Herald an.d Week-
ly Star. These appeals take the
form of begging letters addres-
sed personally to people whose
names, with addresses, have ap-
peered in .some Canadian publi-
cation. The Family Herald, with
over 400,000 subscribers, reach-
es India more frequently than
many publications, and has had
an especially good opportunity
to observe these letters.
Individuals in India, seeking
charity, apparently obtain copies
of the Family Herald either by
direct subscription or by having
it sent to them by friends, and
use it to compile a list of names
and addresses of Canadians to
whom they send appeals.
