The now airgrap1) system, where by full page messages may be sent by air to soldiers in the United King- dom is proving quite popular. Al- ready many are availing themselves of this low price (10 cents) method introduced by the Post Office Dept, by which relatives in Canada may send messages quickly and safely to the boys overseas. The new regula- tion which allows soldiers in the Un- ited Kingdom to have money sent to them, free by air, by simply paying the small money order fee and in amounts up to $10 in any one day, seems to appeal to many mailers. The postmaster and stats will be only too pleased to give all necessary as- sistance and information on the above mentioned post office aids, so that our fighting men may have real Merry Christmas, The general public are once, again asked to aid the post otFiee service by "Mailing Early" and the follow- ing are suggested dates: On or before Dec. 1 Oth for United States 113 1)' 3 ( to 11110w for customs examination). To that31t3,-„f+ end itwas decided that the month -_ r,• of December should be regarded as1 Go to Church Month.- This has 1it• Ile meaning for the regalan church tender who looks upon every month as •t go to ('1lurch month. and every Sunday 18 go to chu'rc'h Sun- day. However thele are many peo- ple its Seaforth whose attendance at hunch is very irregular, and some who never go, for no real reason, but their owl lack of inclination to at tend. December is the last month of the year, and reminds us of the passing of time. The question is sometimes asked what is time, and no practical answer can be given, than that time is opportunity. Opportunity for the creature to glorify the Creator. to serve 1114' fellowman, and opportun- ity to prepare for eternity. It is fit- ting that we should meetin the House of God 10 mediate on these things and Unite our hearts in wor- ship and prayer. Then again December is the month in which we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord. When once again we are reminded of the angel's message proclaiming "good tidings of great joy to all peo- ple. and that of the heavenly host." Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men, surely these are messages needed in these days of international strife. Next week we hope to consider the relationship of church going to our war effort. Meanwhile het 118 go 10 Gm house of God rejoicing in oar privilege, and conscious of oar re- s"pnnsibility, The Seaforth Institute held their December meeting at the, home of Mrs. Robert Scott, the room of meet- ing being beautifully decorated for the Christmas season.
