In last week's issue we made men- tion of Miss fanny Diehl being in Clinton hospital, where she under- went an operation on Monday and we regret to say she passed array On Thursday night. Her death carne as a shock as she attended the annual supper under the auspices of the L,O,I,• on the previous Friday night and appeared -in her usual health. The deceased was a valued member of St. John's Anglican Church, also an active worker in the W.A. She will be greatly missed in the com- munity. We extend sincere sympathy to the now bereaved family.
