W. E. Gilmore Is
Buried At Sarnia—
The death occurred at the home
of V. Taylor, at Bruoefield on Mon-
day, July 21st, of William E. Gil-
more in his 78th year. He came
east last Christmas. He suffered a
stroke on April 6th and had been at
the home of his nephew Victor
Taylor, Stanley township, where he
died last week. Mr. Gilmore was
born in Wainfieet Township near
Dunnville aad came to Forest when
an infant. Previous to his marriage
he lived at Weyburn, Sask, He mar-
ried Mary Ann Bright, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bright, of
Bright's Grove, who predeceased
him in 1911. They went to Bengough,
Saskatchewan, following their mar-
riage and Mr. Gilmore resided there
ever since. He came east three
months ago because of ill -health and
was about ready to return home
when he became ill. The funeral

ther, Janies Gilmore, McNabb street,
Forest, on Thursday afternoon, July
24th, at 1.30 o'clock. Interment was
at Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia. Rev.
Mr, Hawkins of the Forest Anglican
Church, conducted the service. Six
nephews were pallbearer's: Victor
and Harvey Taylor, Will Gilmore,
Bruce Gilmore, Nelson Gilmore.
Stanley Gilmore. Mr. Gilmore is sur-
vived by tour brothers and two sis-
ters, Sylvester, of Clare, Michigan,
Oran and James of Forest, and Rob-
ert of Sarnia, Mrs. Catherine Taylor
of Forest, and Mrs. 3..Rice of Buff-
alo. Besides his wife, a sister, Mrs.
R. Taylor, and three brothers, Sam-
uel, J. C. Gilmore and Alexander Gil-
more predeceased him,
