The regular meeting of the Gleaner
(Mission Band of Duff's United church
was held last Sunday with forty-two
in attendance. The meeting opened
with Clayton Sellers in the chair. A
hymn was followed by prayer by

of the last meeting were read by

in Hibbert near Cromarty.

\•1r. Elgin McKinley's house Gosh-
en line, was badly damaged by fire
on Saturday afternoon, The Zurich
.fire 'brigade assisted in putting out
the tire and the back .pant of the
residence was saved. The fire start-
ed from a chimney. It .was a stone
house. The family is aihle .to live in
the portion 'of the house .which was
saved. •
