vices in the United Church on Sunday
and at the evening service delivered
a tine address on the picture, "The
Angelus" which was shown by lan-
tern slide. The choir sang bwo an-
thenis, 'Sing Unto The Lord," and
• "Sweet Hour 'Of Prayer."
Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Glenn and Miss
Maude Glenn of Toronto were week
end visitors 'with Mr. and Mrs. John
Glenn and •Mr, and illrs, Gen. Glenn.

Pursuant to instructions of the
(Council, I wish to give notice to the
Electors of the Municipality of the
Town of Seaforth, that The Local
Government Extension Act recently
passed by the Ontario Legislature
provides that all elected members of
municipal councils, boards and com-
missions when elected at the next el-
ection shall hold office for two years,
unless a majority vote of the qualified
electors determines otherwise. Such
vote will be taken in Seaforth if five
percent of the electors petition the
Town Council to have such vote. The
