All roads led to Exeter last Sunday
where thousands viewed the wrecked
bridge which had been an eye sore
to the public for years, as it was too
' narrow to pass. It had been built in
1888 and was a good structure in the
horse and buggy days. It was a arir•
hale no one was hurt. Even the
large van did not look too bad, and
some remarks were made that if a
guy hit it, he should bo recompensed
for his daring feat.
