To avoid a collision on Goderich st. west, near the town limits, Sunday afternoon, a Goderich car swerved and broke off a hydrant, Mr, C. E. Smith and Mrs. Sorters were Blyth visitors ou Sunday. Mrs. G. Kelly and son of Brussels, and Mr. and Mrs. Gavin Snaith of Porcupine were recent visitors at the hone of Mr. Robert Scarlett. Misses Jean and Marjory Beggs of Linwood end Mr. and Mrs. Wm. BROTHER PASSES Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wasmann at- tended the funeral at Clinton ou Tuesday afternoon of Mr. Wasmann's brother, the late John F. Wasmann. His death occurred at the home of his son, Leslie J. Wasmann, 213 Clen- denan avenue, Toronto, in his Slst year. Born at Mitchell, he learned the blacksmithing trade there and went to Cranbrook and Blnevale and lived for 35 years in Clinton, For the past five years he had resided with his sister, Mrs. John Eliigson at Mitchell, following the death of his wife, who was Miss Grace Pollard of Mitchell before her marriage. When his sister moved to Monkton about a month ago he went to Toronto. Mr. Wasutane was au older of On- tario Street 'united Church, Clinton, and a former president of the Clin- ton Temperance Society. He was a Conservative in Politics. BROTHER PASSES Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wasmann at- tended the funeral at Clinton ou Tuesday afternoon of Mr. Wasmann's brother, the late John F. Wasmann. His death occurred at the home of his son, Leslie J. Wasmann, 213 Clen- denan avenue, Toronto, in his Slst year. Born at Mitchell, he learned the blacksmithing trade there and went to Cranbrook and Blnevale and lived for 35 years in Clinton, For the past five years he had resided with his sister, Mrs. John Eliigson at Mitchell, following the death of his wife, who was Miss Grace Pollard of Mitchell before her marriage. When his sister moved to Monkton about a month ago he went to Toronto. Mr. Wasutane was au older of On- tario Street 'united Church, Clinton, and a former president of the Clin- ton Temperance Society. He was a Conservative in Politics.
