Meets With Painful Accident -
Mr, John Farquhar, who is em-
.ployed at Mr. A. A. Spencer '& Son's
planing mill, met with a painful ac-
cident .lash .week when his left hand
came in contact with the saw and
was 'badly out, requiring several
stitches to close the wound. He was
attended by Dr. D, G. Steer.
Rev, 'Wim, Weir conducted serv-
ices in 'Camm,el Church on Sunday and
delivered a .very inspiring address at
the evening sepviCe on the :sulbject,

Meets At Presbyterian Manse
The South Huron Ministerial As-
sociation of South Huron niet at the
Presbyterian manse, the 'hone of
Rev. Mr. and Mrs. \Vin. Weir on
Monday afternoon. The 'president
Rev E. F. .Chandler, of Kippen was
in the chair and conducted opening
worship. Arrangements were made to
hold special services during I -Poly
Week. Rev. Jahn Richardson gave an
address on "The Originality of Jesus."
which was much enjoyed. The mem-
bers all contributed to a helpful dis-
cussion on the subject. Dainty refresh•
ments were served by Mrs. William
Weir and Mrs. F. G. Weir. A vote of
thanks was extended to Rev, Mr.
Richardson and Rev. and Mrs. Weir,

The Young People's Union met in
the United Church on Monday even•
ing with Miss Edna Saundercoek
presiding. Miss Elva McQueen led in
prayer, The Scripture lesson was read
by Miss Gladys Luker. The roll was

guests next Monday evening and
present the program. A piano solo,
"Come Back to Erin," was played by
Miss Greta Laramie and much enjOY-
ed, Miss Ruth Brook gave the topic
on "Is Drinking Necessary To Popu-
larity?" which was very interesting.

crusher. Contractor to furnish power

capacity, belt, labor, fuel and oil to
place the gravel in the bin. The Mun-
icipality Io supply oil for crusher and
drag line, and be responsible for ord-
inary wear and tear o1 crusher,- but
will hold the Contractor responsible
for repairs caused by inefficient or
careless operation and for keeping
