Mr. Lewis Cantelon, of Onedaga,. visited his parents, Mr, and Mrs. D. Cantelon. The dance held in the town Mall on Friday evening was largely at- tended and all reported a good time. Miss Viola Higgins visited friends in London on Sunday. Miss Ethel 'Murdock pleasantly entertained her Sunday school class on Friday evening last, Miss Margaret Allison, of Toronto, visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Allison. Miss F. Foss, of Toronto, visited her parents for a few days, Mr. and Mrs. J. Reid and little child, of 'London, spent the week- end with relatives in town. Mr, and Mrs. Roy White and little child, of London, spent the holiday with their parents here. The holiday passed over quietly in town, a number going to the fowl supper in Seaforth in the evening. Miss Margaret Hopkirk, of Toron- to, spent the holiday with her par- ents, Mr. and Mrs, W. 'Hopkirk. Mr. Milton Ortwein, of London, spent the week -end with relatives its town. Miss Margaret Doherty, of Born- holm, died on Saturday. while visit- ing her sister, Mrs. 'Andrew iDantzer, of 'McKillop, Deceased lady taught school in Chicago for thirty years and was principal of the school for over twenty years. Each summer Che came to her cottage at Bornholm. In September, she had a slight stroke of paralysis, but had quite recovered. A few days ago a second stroke elid- ed her use til career as a teacher and social worker. Her funeral on Mon- day at St. Patrick's church, Dublin, was very large. Interment- was at Kinkora, beside her father and mother. Six nephews were the bearers, Many spiritual bouquets adorned her casket. Mrs. John Murphy and three dau- ghters of Cayuga spent the week end and 'Thanksgiving with her 'brothers, Pat and John McGrath, It 111• eleven years since Mrs. Murphy's last visit to Dublin and she notices many changes stn'ce that dime. Misses Annie McGrath and Ruth. Hills, of Brescia Hall, London, spent Thanksgiving with their parents and returned to their studies on Tuesday, 'Miss Minnie _Maloney, of Buffalo, N.Y., is visiting her another, Mrs, N. Maloney, for a few days. Misses Aileen Jordan and Mary Crawford are spending a few days With friends in Toronto. Mr. Lorne Cronin, who is attend- ing school in Toronto.. visited over the week -end.
