Notwithstanding the inclemency of the weather on Monday night, the ladies of the United Church turned, out and filled the Board Room of the church to listen to the message brought to them by Miss' `Michell, travelling secretary of the W.M.S. She emphasized the urgent need of missionaries and churches for the isolated parts. of the West, which have never been within reach of the gospel, though they have been there for 15 years, and their pitiful appeal for Old Ontario to help them. Miss Michell is a very pleasing speaker and her wide experiences give her the knowledge of her subject which can only .be obtained at first hand. We bespeak for Miss Michell a warm welcome should she ever find time to visit Seaforth again.
