We say circles 'be- cause it looksas f i the W F. A. executive had 'wheels in 'their think tanks. Kin'bu"n protested against Stratford on two grounds—'that play- ers on the Stratford team had taken part in games outside Canada and that Ken Murray was 0-01 eligible to play. The first item was 'thrown out, and Murray! was ordered to appear 'before a -committee Of one to show Why he shouldn't be thrown out. Ap- parently he proved' the matter 'for the satisfaction of the committee for Stratford was ordered to play 'Hes- peler, It took four games to get a decision. In'the 'meantime, after the four. games were played, Kin'burn 'carried their appeal to the Ontario Football Union and it was thrown out mac 'evening by that body because the appeal had not 'been made within the required number of days. Then the next morning President ?Bamford, of Listowel, called up George Oliver and informed him that S'tratford had 'been disqualified 'because Murray 'was not in Stratford when he signed his certifioa'te and ordered Hespeler to 'play Kinburn. Oliver, however, said that they were ;billed to play Owen Sound and would carry this out. The winner of this series will have to play Kinburn for the championship. It looks as if -there was 'considera'ble laxity on the p'a'rt of "the W. F. A. officials. We understand that if Stratford is thrown out the in'ternaediates of that group -are rola-inning the right to play Kinburn."
