,been an invalid this past three years,
is very low and suffering much. Her
many friends sincerely hope for her
speedy recovery to health.

The Council. -Hibbert Council met
on June17th ,pursuant to adjourn-
ment. Members all present, Mintitcs
of last meeting read and confirmed.
It was moved and seconded that
the Court of Revision of the Assess-
inant lRoil he not' -closed and the
roll stand as finally revised and (tor-
rected, The council then held
Court of Revision on the 'Tyndall
drain assessment, It was also moved
and seconded that, there being no
apeal against assessments for the
Tyndall drain, the By -Law be read
a second time; also that the usual
grant of $50 he made to the Strat-
ford hospital trust. Communications
were then read -Mr. F. H. Thomp-

Continuation School and is the first
Dublin boy to become a medical doc-

of Mr. and Mrs, James Redmond on

Death of Mrs. Traynor, -On Tues-
day morning, June 23rd, -Mrs. Ellen
Traynor passed away at the age of
83 years , efter, a short illness,
She had lived !here' the greater part of -
her life, being formerly !Miss Burns, '
and was a fine type of woman whose
charitable and kindly nature had won
for her the respect of everyone. She
is survived by one daughter, Mrs.
.William Hastings, sixthconcession
of Hibbert, Mrs. \Vm. Stapleton, of
Dublin: Mrs. James • Sullivan, Mc-
Killop, and Miss Tessie' Gallagher,
Hibbert, are nieces. Three brothers
survive, John in Stratford, and Mal-
achi and Michael of Hibbert. with
whom she made her home. The fun-
eral will be held Thursday morning
from St, Patrick's church, Dublin, to •
the place of interment in St. Caltint-
ban cemetery.
