The following despatch conies Trent

Stratford,
Ont., July'2S. For the
last week or more the motor traffic
has been crawling• aiotig the paved
highways at the speed of a funeral
procession owing to the clepradaelons
of a speed cop. Some of the old' boys.
incl girls ,corning to the Stratford re-
union 'next week are going to be
stung by this hornet of the highway
if they are in too much of a hurry
to get hack to the old city.
Nevertheless, the cop still seems
-to be able to nab a lot of speeders.1
One Sunday recently it said that 45
summonses
were handed. out.
"That motorcycle cop is a pretty

close behind my car. A fairly big car
going in the opposite direction at per-
laps 26 or 30 miles an hour, -vent

acted
after the bigfellow and
got bun, too „
Drivers are also being checked
