Mr. Stanley Buglass left Friday for

The annual meeting of the Metho-
dist W.M.S. was held in the church
'basement on Thursday afternoon,
April 17th. The president, Miss Con -
sift, took charge of the first part of
the meeting and after the business
hadbeen transacted the chair was

presided over the election of officers

also a recitation by Gertrude Hig-
gins. Instrumentals by Avis Lin-

girls' quartette by Joyce Scruton,
Mercian Sinclair, Hazel •Hudson and

This was received with such de-
light to the :children that they replied
with an encore. One of the spe al
features of the evening was the ad-
dress from Mrs. Mollard, of the Ex-
eter district organizer. She referred.
to the pleasure she had in being in-
vited to this Easter gathering and
that she could safely say that Hen-
sail was the largest and best behaeed
Band she had yet visited in the dis-
trict, which speaks well for the lead''
