their December meeting at the
home of Mrs. Verne Alderdice00
Wednesday afternoon with Mrs.
Robt. Bell co -hostess. The meet-
ing opened with the ode, Mara
Stewart Collect. Christmas Car-
ole were sung. Mrs, W. Broad -
foot and Mrs. .1. Drummond gave
their report on Area Convention
in London. Mrs. Drummond and
Mrs. Stewart Pepper gave re
ports on County Rally held in
Exeter. Roll call was answered
by a favorite Christmas verse.
The President, Mrs. 0, Eyre
took over the business part of
the meeting. The,secretary read
correspondence, Several Ohriet-
maa cards were received from
local W. I. Mrs. Art Finlwyeon,
Jack .Caldwell. .Mrs. E. Jarrot
sold most tickets on Christmas
cake. The members were grate-
ful to all those who bought tick-
ets on the cake. Mrs. Ross allftP.
Mail commented on the project
"Sew to Save Dollars and make
Sense." Mrs, Art Finlayson told
the Christmas Story, followed by
several recitations by the pre-
school children, Oollection was
taken for the Children's Aid at
Goderieh. .Current Events were
given by 1VIrs. W. Broadfoot. The
President gave courtesy remarks
to hostess and those who took part
in the meeting. Santa appeared
and distributed gifts and a delici-
ous lunch was served with
Christmas cookies, cake and ice
cream,
