TUCKERSMITH The monthly meeting of the Hannah Home and School, S.S. 7, Tuakersmith was held in the school rooms last Thursday even- ing. The President, ML's. K. Sharp opened' the meeting with the name of the First school they at- tended and the location of the school. Tvlr. R. Sharp introduced the speaker of the evening, Chief of Pollee E. Hutchinson of the town of Seaforth, who gave a very interesting talk on, Police Work, Highway Safety and Fire Prevention. The next meeting on November 12 will be held in the school rooms and the speaker will be -Mr. G. J. Gorman, Inspector of Public Schools. The president, Mrs. Helen McMillan presided and opened the meeting with a Poem and a hymn. Final plans were made for our thankoffering which is to be held in the church hall Thursday afternoon Oct. 16, when Rev, D. Leslie Elder will be our special speaker. Mrs. R. E. McMillan and her group had charge of the program. The scrip- ture lesson was read by birs. Sam McClure and Mrs. R. E. MoMSl len offered prayer. A lovely solo "In the Garden" was sung by levrs.
