ses. Miss Anne Maloney, Kitch-
ener, sister of the bride, was the
maid of honor. The bridesmaids
were Miss Helen Maloney, R.R. 0,
Seaforth, sister of the bride, and
Miss Donna Sharpe, of Clinton,
cousin of the bride. They wore

identical blue braca.ded taffeta
dresses featuring a high neckline
and a "V" shaped back, The fit-
ted bodice was trimmed with a
'pleated tafetta aash meeting at
the back, a .clainty bow from
which fell a long streamer in
graceful folds to the hem of the
skirt. Their flowers were white
mums. Miss Theresa Doyle, Lon-
don, niece of the groom, was the
flower -girl wearing a pink ny-
lon embroidered dress and match-
ing aceessories. Jimmy McCann,
• .Dashwood. nephew of the groom,
-: was ring -bearer. Edward Doyle,
brother of the groom, was best
Imam other attendants of the
groom were Jack Doyle, Exeter,
and Jimniy Maloney, Seaforth.
!Cabers were Leonard .Maloney,
Seaforth, and Joe McCann, Lon-
don, The wedding dinner was
lucid at the Hillcrest tea room,
Mitchell, and later a reception
was held at the bride's home.
Receiving guests, the bride's mo -
[they wore a royal blue dress,
1powder blue accessories and a
corsage of red roses. She was as-
sisted by the groom's mother,
wearing a blue lace areas, royal
blue accessories and a corsage of
red roses. For a honeymoon to be
spent in Montreal and eastern
Points, the bride donned a pink
sheath dress of lace over taffeta
land a pleated bodice held by se-
quins. She wore a white nylon
,-tole with matching accessories
'and a corsage of white cranations.

Sunday service at St. Andrew's
U nited Church was well attend-
ed. The pastor, Rev. McMillan
conduoting the service, his text
"Continuation of the Sermon on
the Commandment". Communion
service followed the regular ser -
Mrs. Norman McLeod returned
to her home in Cookshire, Que-
bec, since visiting the past two
Weeks with friends of the eongre-
gation.
Mr. and Mrs, Robert Stokes
and Larry of London spent Sat-
urday evening with Mrs. Stoke's
father, Mr. R. Thomson, and on
Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Lorne
Schneider and family of Strat-
ford paid him a visit.
Mr. and Mrs. W. J. F. Bell and
Mr, and Mrs. Ervin Ford a Exe-
ter were in Toronto Sunday at-
tending the funeral of the late
Flat. Sgt. Roy Smith, RCAF,
Greenwood, Nova Scotia, and for-
merly of Kippen when six years
ago he was transferred to Mani-
t oba. Sympathy from their many
frienda from Kippeu and the sur-
rounding district is extended the
widow and family.

length dress of rose -point chan-
tilly lace and net over taffeta

bodice, scalloped sabrina neck-

ing to a slight train. She carried
a -cascade of red roses. A sabrina
headpiece trimmed with pearls
and rhinestones held her double -
French illusion veil. Ruth Wilk-
ins was maid at honor for her
sister and the bridesmaids were
:Mona Durfee, West Branch, Mich-
igan, and Mes. Nornia,n
Exeter. They were dressed alike
in ballerina -length dresses of
sapphire blue with cap sleeves
and bouffant skirt of unpressed
pleats, They had matching fea-
ther band headdresses and car-
ried cascades of white mums
tinted pink. The flower girl,

pink velvet dreas with white
antique lace and unpressed pleats
and she carried a basket of white
mums tinted blue ,and white car-
nations. Ringbearer Glen Fergu-
son wore grey pants and grey
stniped ivy league jacket and car-
ried the ring on a white satin
pillow. Harold Parsons, Hensall,
was best man for his brother and
Norman Whiting, Exeter and Jim
Cornell, Detroit,ushered.
A wedding reception was held
in the caurch parlors. The bride's
mother wore an afternoon dress
of bisque lace with three-quarter
coat of silk organza with beige
accessories and orchid corsage.
The groom's mother wore azure
blue lace over taffeta. matching
accessories and orchid corsage.
