Mrs. Agnes Davidson, of Cal-
gary, formerly of Walton, was
taken to London on Tuesday for
treatment for a fractured hip, re-
ceived while visiting at the home
of John McDonald, Brussels on
Monday.
It is reported that former Sea -
forth Chief of Police Edward
Ehrhardt, who was injured at
Elliott Lake several weeks ago
while directing traffic. is still
confined to a Toronto Hospital,
and it is feared he may not be
able to walk again.

was held at the home of Mrs, P.
"Weston. The Rev, E. Harrison
opened the meeting with prayer
and Mrs. Weston presided for
the business session. The secre-
tary's and treasurer's reports
were read. The Rector closed, the
meeting with prayer and Dire.
Weston served dainty refresh-
ments.
Thomas Orr, Stratford, spent
the weekend at his cottage.
Mrs. John Parker returned "
home on Saturday after speeding
a week in Loudon.

Construction of the distribution system which will
make natural gas available throughout town is pretty
well completed. Purging of air from the lines will
begin early next week, and will be followed .by an
official turn -on ceremony Weduesday, Sept. 24th:
