from his vacation spending two
weeks with his nephew, Rev. Fr,

boro Foreign Missions Seminary.
While there visited Brothel' An-
drew's Shrine, Montreal and
Cape De Madeline. Quebec, and
St. Anne's Shrine, coming home
by way of Ottawa acid Niagara
Fails. Father McQuaid is spend-
ing a few days with his mother,

slight concussion she is making

Miss Della Harris R.N., of New
York, visited with Mrs. Sarah
McIver over the weekend. Cathy.
McIver spent the weekend with
her grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Mc-
Iver.
Miss Ruth Joynt has returned
to Toronto to resume her teach-
ing duties. Miss Joynt spent the
summer with her parents, Mr,
and Mrs, Robt, Joynt.
Mr. and Mrs. John Meagher
are spending this week at Ste
Anne de Beaupre, Quebec.
Mrs. Walter Barry and children
returned to Detroit after spend-
ing the past two weeks with Mr.
and Mrs, P. Tabor. Mrs. H. Sproat
of Cleveland, spent the weekend
with Mr. and Mrs, Tabor,
Mrs. F, J, Bechely has returned
home after spending three weeks
holiday with her daughter and
spn-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ar-
thur,Miami, .Florida.

spent the weekend with his moth-
er, 'Mrs, Effie Stephenson.
Mr. Douglas Stewart, Toronto,
visited over the weekend with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs, ..1. Stewart,
Rev. Eliwyn Morris, Port Dov-
er, spent a few days last week
with his mother, Mrs. Josephine
Morris.
Mrs. Peter McIver and Miss
Margaret Molver and Miss Patri-
cia Stiles have returned home af-
ter spending the past week at
Ste. Anne de Beaupre, Quebec,
Mr. Thos, Aldington is a pa-
tient in St. Joseph's. Hospital, in
London.
Friends and neighbors gather-
ed at the lams of Mrs. J. Meagher
to honour .Mi�s. John Walsh. Mrs.
Walsh left last week to reside in

School opened here on Tuesday
with Miss Audrey Hackwell of
Walton, .the teacher for her sec-
ond term. There are 39 enrolled.
Baskets of flowers were placed
by the family in the chancel of
St. Peter's Lutheran Church on
Sunday, also in First Lutheran
Church, Logan, and United Bre-
thren Church, McKillop, in mem-
ory of W. L. Querengesser whose
funeral was held a week ago on
Monday, Aug: 25th.
