SUFFICIENT .WATER
Seaforth has a generous Sup-
ply of water, a Public Utility of-
ficial said this week when- asked
about a report at the last meeting
of the town council that the wa-
'ter in the webs supplying the
town was clown five feet. The
OOnlrnission can test the water
level in the wells by pressure
gauges. Also the water in one of
the wells rises to near the sur-
face and can be measured, and
it is clown five feet at present.
Based on these indications the
PLIC considers that Seaforth has
n water supply equal to any de-
mands that may be made upon
It in the foreseeable future. A
fluctuation of five feet they feel
is unimportant, because there is
atilt lots or water lett, The: water
level here is not noticeably affect-
ed by the level of Lake. Huron,
which is below normal this year.
