A board meeting was held in
Guelph last week with directors
of Ontario, from Huron were Bob
Taylor, Mrs. Alf Nesbitt, Carl
Dalton, Gordon Hill. We are
pleased to report Mr. Hill's eye
is improving. Convention in
Guelph, Oct. 21 and 22. National
Farm Union Week will be first
week in November. Joint Board
meeting will be held in Ontario
next year. There will be Farmers
Union booth at plowing match.
Also at some fall fairs. Hog vote
is still in doubt as to what will
happen, as present plan is not a
producer plan. Speakers for con-
vention. Albert Cormack, Bill Til -
don, Douglas Harkness, Rex
Frost. There will be draw on
$1000, ticket will be drawn at
night of dance after convention.
Mrs, Prosser will have served
four years by convention time,
and anyone wishing to donate to-
wards a donation can leave with
president of any local. Meeting
adjourned.
