ern Ontario. For travelling the
bride donned a 'blue printed silk
sheath dress with matching blue
duster and beige accessories and
a corsage of pink carnations.
The bride is a graduate of Strat-
ford Teachers' College. The cou-
ple will reside in Dublin. Guests
were present from Oakville,
Windsor, Deep River, Kitchener,
London, Guelph, Stratford, Se.
bringville, St. Marys, Dublin and
St. Columban.

Mrs. Minnie Sangster attended
the Orkney picnic held in Galt
last Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Simpson of
Detroit visited last week with
the former's mother, Mrs. Louis
Simpson.

St. Patrick's Roman Catholic
Church, Dublin, was the setting
for the marriage, Saturday morn-
ing, July 19th at 10 a.m. of Mar-
garet Mary O'Rourke, eldest
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wil-
fred O'Rourke, R.R. 1, Dublin,
and Edward Joseph Rowland of
St. Columban, son of Mrs. Jack
McIver and the late Edward
Rowland. Rev. J. L. O'Rourke of
Stratford, uncle of the bride per-
formed the marriage ceremony
and Rev. J. B. Ffoulkes sang the
nuptial mass. Rev. John McCaw

ell and Rev. John McIver were
present in the sanctuary. The al-
tars were decorated with red ro-

ses and delphiniums. Mrs. Tom
Kale, St. Columban, Was soloist,
accompanied by her sister, Miss
Rosemary Lane, St. Columban.
She sang "Ave Marie", "Penis

Feet I'm Kneeling", and during.
the signing of the register, "On
This Day 0 Beautiful Mother".
Mrs. Wm. Lane was organist for
the nuptial mass.
The bride given' in marriage by
her father wore a floor -length
gown of nylon chiffon over tis-
sue taffeta styled with fitted bo-
dice and draped neckline .with
brief shirred sleeves and two
panels flowing down the back. It
had a hooped bouffant skirt with

mitts. Her headdress was a full
crown of sequins and pearls
holding the finger-tip veil of silk
illusion. She carried 'a shower
bouquet of red roses. Miss Louise

of the bride, was maid of honor
wearing a Ballerina -length gown.

line and draped neckline falling
over the shoulders forming brief
sleeves with two panels flowing
down the back and a hooped
bouffant skirt with matching
mitts. I3er headdress was a
small white shell hat trimmed
with orange -ice chiffon and she
carried a bouquet of white mums.
Mrs. Wilfred Hartleib, of Kitch-
ener, and Miss Eileen ,O'Rourke,
R.R. 1, Dublin, sister of the
bride, were bridesmaids, wearing
identical gowns to that of the
maid of honor. They carried bou-
quets of white mums. Mary Mar-
garet Rowland, niece of the
groom, was flower girl wearing
a dress of aqua coloured nylon
with a full gathered skirt and
white accessories. She carried a
basket of red and white flowers.
Larry Murray, cousin of the
bride was ring -bearer. Ile wore
navy trousers and a white jacket.
Ile carried a white satin cushion
with white streamers. The best
man was Mr. Lou Rowland, of St.
Columban, brother of the groom.
The ushers were Mr. Martin Pur-
cell, brother-in-law of the groom,
and Mr. Frank O'Rourke, cousin
of the bride.
The wedding breakfast was
served at Fullers Grove, Sebring-
ville. Later a reception was held
at the bride's home where the
bride's table was centered with a
three -tiered wedding cake, and
the rooms were decorated with
Pink and white 'streamers and
white bells. Receiving guests the
bride's mother wore a dress of
Rose triple sheer crepe with
beige accessories and a corsage
