The bride wore a waltz - length dress of lace over satin, with rows of shirring and a lace racket featuring a Peter Pan col- ar and lily -point sleeves. Her ell was shoulder -length and she lad corsage of red roses with idl- er ribbon. Attending the bride as her sister, Miss Verna Byers, who was wearing a dress of pale Ilue net and lace over taffeta, with a lace jacket fashioned with ?eter Pan collar and corsage of link roses, Frank Johnston, bro- her of the bridegroom was best ian. Following the ceremony a din- er was served at the home of he bride's parents. Pink stream- rs and bells formed the decora- ions and the bride's table was entred with a three-tier wedding ake. The guests were received ,y the bride's mother who chose navy blue sheer dress with vhite accessories and corsage of white roses. She was assisted by the bridegroom's mother wearing a dress of navy blue crepe with white accessories and corsage of white roses. Mrs. Earl Frutter and Mrs, Gordon Klein, cousins of the bride assisted at the wed- ding dinner. For travelling to Montreal and U.S.A. the bride wore a blue glaz- ed flowered outfit with blue bo- lero .and white accessories. On their return they will reside in Holmesville. • A miscellaneous shower in hon- or of Miss Anne Denomme, whose marriage to Mr. Lorne Cronin is an event of July 26th, was spon- sored by Mrs. Clayton Looby and Mrs. J. Cronin and held at the hone of Mrs. J. O'Rourke. An ad- chess of congratulation was read by Mrs. Clayton Looby and the guest of honor was assisted in opening numerous attractive gifts. Approximately fifty neigh- bors and friends were present to extend felicitations to the pros- pective bride.
