Charlesworth of iStrathroy oc- curred in London on Sunday af- ter a length' illness. Mrs. Charlssworbh was in her 78th year. Born and raised near Kip - pen in 1ruckersmith Township, the former Margaret Hell Mc- Lean, she was the daughter of the late 'William McLean and Elizalbeth' Ross. In her early life she taught school in the district and was employed in ISeaforbh for a number of years, later moving to ;Strathroy. Besides her husband, she is survived by a sister, Miss Mabel McLean of Santa i$aribara, California. A funeral service was held Wed- nesday ednesday from the Box Funeral •Chmpel, ISeaforth, (Rev. D. WELFARE: Family allowances will be continued to age 18 for stu- dents. Old age assistance will start at age 60, instead of 65 for widows and unmarried women. Family allow- ances and old age assistance were introduced originally by the Liberal Party. 5. TAXES: Reductions retroactive to January 1, 1958,. will mean a saving of one dollar out of every four for every taxpay- ing Canadian; tax exemptions doubled for young mar- ried couples for the first three years of married life.
