sung and the Lord's Prayer re-
peated in unison, Mrs, Christie
conducted the (business of the
meeting and it was decided to
carry on with the sunshine bags.
Mrs. McNichol asked for volun-
teer workers for the Red Cross

program committee. Lunch was

Group 2 of 'W. A, of North-
side United Church •held their
January meeting at the home
of Mrs. 'Savauge, 21 members
and two visitors were present,
'Mrs. Walters opened the meet-
ing by reading apoem. After the

ed in 'memory of Mrs. Hanna,
who was one of our faithful

the discussion of projects for
"the new year. Several projects
were 'discussed (but it was de-
cided to leave it until the next
aneeting before taking any def-

of the meeting was closed by
repeating the Mizpah Benedic-
tion, after wiliich an enjoyable

The Bethel WMS and W.A.

the annual church meeting, so
each one was quite brief.
The president opened the
meeting with prayer. The scrip-
ture lesson taken from Philip-
pians 2: was read by Mrs. Wm.
Roe. Tennie Dennis gave the
meditation and. Mrs. Glen Mc-.
Nichol led in prayer. The chap-
ter from the study book on Ja-
pan was taken lay Mrs. C. Boyd.
She told of the personal prob-
lems of seven different Japan-
ese persons and :asked the ques-
tion, What would you do in a
like situation? Tennie Dennis
gave a Stewardship reading en-
titled "The (Mantel Clock". The.
