Shower For Miss Elaine Bell
Miss Elaine Bell, :bride -elect
of this ,Saturday, Dec. 21, was
honored •at a number of pre -
nuptials. Mrs. Harold Taylor of
Exeter was hostess on (Tuesday
night at a 'miscellaneous shower.
On Wednesday night Miss Darl
Tuekey of 'Hensall ,entertained
a number of Blaine's,school
chums to a miscellaneous show-
er. The ladies of St. Andrew's
United Church held a miscellan-
eous shower ,in the auditorium
of the church on Thursday
night. Carols were sung with
Mrs. Ross IBroadfoot as ,pianist.
Contests were enjoyed and dir-
ected by Miss Marie Sinclair.
Joan !Sinclair favored with two
solos. Elaine was (then called to
the .platform to '.a decorated
chair to open the gifts. The ad-
dress was read by 'Miss Tat Lov-
ell and the ,gifts brought in by
Miss Bonnie Kyle and Miss .Ma-
rie Sinclair. Elaine thanked ev-
eryone for .her gifts. Lunch was
served by Mrs. Win. Kyle, Mrs,
H. Caldwell, Mrs. D. Cooperand
Miss Bonnie Kyle.
Miss (Marilyn Mousseau, Stip
pen, was hostess at a surprise
miscellaneous shower at her
home on Friday night, Dec. 13,
when 20 of Elaine's friends en-
joyed a pleasant evening. The
house was decorated in white
and yellow, wine and white
mums to grace the rooms, The
bride-to-be was seated in a de-
corated chair, Miss Lois McLel-
lan of Hensall reading the ad-
dress. Gifts were opened ,and a
.delicious lunch served.

tea at her home (Saturday, Dec.
14th, ,afternoon and evening in
honor of her daughter Elaine,
bride -elect of this Saburday
21st. One hundred guests at-
