The !bride, given in marriage by her father wore 'a floor - length gown of crystal charm styled on princess lines. The 'bodice was •fashioned with a lace scalloped boat neckline and lily -point sleeves. The scalloped hemline was finished with two tiers of ruffled lace..A crown of pearls with iridescent sequin side clips 'held her scalloped veil of nylon net and she carried a white Bible crested with a bronze orchid and stephanotis. The bride's only jewellery was a pair of mother of pearl ear- rings, athe Bridal a tendan s weregrM s. John :Moore, Kippen, •as matron of honor and Mrs. 'erald Hub- bard, cousin of the bride, 'Har- riston, and Miss 'Lois !McLellan, sister of the groom, London, as bridemaids. They were gowned alike in shades of antique gold, bamboo and coppertone crystal charm respectively. The dresses were waltz -length styled on princess lines,' boat neck with V back and long bows. They wore tiny shiered caps of matching material and crescent shaped bouquets of white poms with the other two shades scattered through completed their ensem- bles. Their only jewellery was matching bracelets and ear- rings, a gift from the bride. !Groomsman was James Mc- Gregor, Kippen and guests were ushered 'by Allan Wahl, cousin of the !bride, Listowel and Grant McGregor, Kippen. ' ' Receiving guests at Arm- strong's Restaurant, Exeter, the bride's mother wore ah avocado green dress with white and black accessories and a corsage of 'White pours. The groom's mother wore a dress of sapphire blue with mushroom and black accessories and a corsage of bronze pours. For traveling by oar to Flor- ida, the bride donned a black suit with snidnite blue and black accessories and corsage of white gardenias. The couplewill live on the groom's farm near Kip - pen. Guests were present from Toronto, Brussels, Melbourne, Kitchener, Harriston, Clifford, Stratford, 'Sarnia, 'Seaforth, Mit- chell, 'Listowel, DUBLIN The. Dublin !Subdivision of the Catholic Women's League met in the Continuation School on Tues. evening at 8.30 with 26 members in attendance. +Ms. John Flannery, the pres., open- ed the meeting with prayer and a'hymn was sung in unison. Mrs. 'Wm. Feeney read the min- utes of the. previous meeting' end the correspondence. Miss !Kathleen !Stapleton gave the fi- nancial report. The pres. .then called on .Mrs. Jos. [McConnell, .Seaforth, who was the guest speaker of the evening, she gave a talk our the Provincial Conven- tion held at Pembroke in Sept. A vote of thanks was tendered Mrs. McConnell by Mrs. James J. Krauskopf, Dr, IRfoulkes then spoke a.few words and also ex- pressed his thanks to .Mrs. Mc- Connell. The Deanery meeting will Ve held this year in Goder- ich. Mrs. Flannery hoped that some of the ladies of the League would.. be able to attend it. A turkey bingo will be held be- fore Christmas. Flannery rThe school took on a very studious air last week as we' had our Sept. tests and d am glad to be 'able to say that the results were quite good. The same '.After (Hours" program will be continued this year for the fail- ures. We are 'taking, 'advantage of the fine fall weather to practise our sports for field day, which will be held the latter part of October. )0n any rainy day we have been using our +P. T. periods to improve our dance steps so if you hear any of the boys com- plaining. of sore feet, you will know what is wrong. We -have ;bought and paid for a new record player out of last year's dance money and have gotten quite a collection of the latest records .so we now eat dinner to the 'tune of Pat Boone. A new oil furnace has been installed in the school so there should be no complaints about it being too cold to :work this winter. Interest is beginning to mount as the parts are being tried and given out for the op- peretta. Question of the week: Nancy, does' he always leave a souvenir? BLAKE Mrs. Mary Hey visited her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. A. Mustard and family at Bayfield for a few days, Mr. Lloyd Jeffery of Wind- sor visited his parents over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Eckel, bridal couple of Goshen Line north, returned to Hensall aft- er their wedding trip. On Wed. evening a happy time was given them by their many friends, at the home of ;Mr, and Mrs, James Dinsmore and on Friday evening a reception was held in the town hall, 'Henson, when they were taken by surprise in their honor and presented again with gifts. Feed cost per Ib. gain, Purina lot, 18.18c ..."average" lot, 20,13c. man Bros. divided the cattle and then flipped a coin to decide which group got the Purina ration.
