The annual picnic of S. S. 14
in Stanley was held Friday ev-
ening, June 28th in the Hensall
Arena with about 80 in attend-
ance. After supper, sports were
enjoyed by the pupils and their
parents under the •direction of
Mr. •Cliff Henderson, assisted 'by
Mrs. Audrey Farquhar and Mrs.
Alex McBeath. Results were as

day with a large attendance.

Eighteen stock feeders from
Waterloo 'county visited the
farm of Thomas McMillan, Hul-
lett, and other Huron county
farms to look over the stool..
Afterwards the visitors were en-
tertained at a banquet in Sea -
forth. They were very compli-
mentary about the quality of
stock on Huron county farms.
Canada celebrated its 50th an-
niversary of ,Confederation.
Rev. J. S. Muldrew of Van-
couver visited his sisters, Mrs.
R. Scarlett and Mrs. J. R. Scott.
Rev. C. C. I{acne will be the
pastor of .Londes;boro Methodist
