The following was the address:
Dear Rev. and Mrs. Holden
and boys. It seems almost an im-
possibility that two short years..
ago we were strangers becoming
acquainted. During this time you
have made many fast friends and
although we are to be parted,
you will always be remembered.
You, Mr. Holden, who visited our
schools, where our children
learned to know you as a friend
and adviser, one who gave guid-
ance that they may travel the,
road of life in the way God would
wish. Yes, you are not only a
minister .to them, but a friend.
You showed us as an individual
and as a community our place in
life and in God's plan.
Although we have missed your
guidance and advice this past
few months we have been able to
carry on, and hope we have mea, -
slued up to your expectations.
During your absence, we all
marvelled at you, Mrs. Holden,
who carried on so faithfully and
were always on hand to help at

yourself to us all with
your friendly personality, cheery
hello and ever winning smile. You
will both be long remembered bit
our community and the fruits of
your labors for Christ will pre-
sent themselves now and in years
to come. We know you are both
very energetic and enthusiastic,
never thinking of yourselves, but
always of others as individuals
and as a congregation. However,
the time for saying farewell has
come, and we hope you will be
able to make use of this gift in
your new home. Wherever it is
used it is hoped it will recall to
mind your stay at Duff's as one
of pleasure and fruitfulness.
Duff's congregation wishes the.
best for you fn the days ahead,
so we say Godspeed and a bright
future.
