Edward Laithwaite, who had his foot painfully injured in a power lawn mower on Fri- day last is improving. Edward is a grandson of Mr. and Mss. Hotham and is a grade X stud- ent •of Goderich High :School and an ardent hockey and ten- nis player. Mr• and Mrs. Roy Dick of Wyoming spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. !Bert Broome. MT, and Mrs. Don Price of Vancouver, with Mr. E. Pryce and other relatives. Miss Marion •Laudenbach of Toronto, was a weekend guest at her home here. Norman MacLean and ;Merton Reid are spending a week fish- ing at New Liskeard, 'Mrs. Andrew Kelly, Stratford, -pent a few days with Mrs. J. Walsh.
