P,, ;Rector of. St. Peter's Cath-
edral, London, who olbserved
the 26th anniversary of his or-
dination to ,the priesthood, on
Tuesday, May 21, marked the
event by returning to his native
St. Patrick's 'Parish, Dublin, on
Sunday where he offered.a Mass
of thanksgiving. Msgr. Feeney is,
a native of St. Panicles Parish,
the youngest son of the late Mr.
and Mrs. William Feeney. After
attending Dublin Separate and
Secondary Schools he entered
St. Peter's Seminary, London,
and was ordained May 21, 1932
by the late Bishop John Kidd of
London. Following ordination the
was appointed a curate at St.
Peter's Cathedral, London. In
1936 he was assigned as Chap-
lain of St. Joseph's Hospital;
London. Nino years ago he was
appointed Rector of St. Peter's
'Cathedral. Last October he was
raised to the dignity of a Do-
mestic 'Prelate by Pope Pius
KSI.

in educational circles, 'having
